Child Custody & Visitation

Child Support

 

Child support is determined by the parties’s gross incomes. New York State has devised a formula that calculates each parties financial responsibilities including: child support, child care, and health insurance. Paternity

 

Paternity is the foundation of custody and support issues. Weinrieb Law represents mothers and fathers in proceedings that establish or disprove parentage, thereby granting the right of a parent to receive or pay support as well as ask for custody or visitation of a child.

Family Offenses & Orders of Protection

 

Family Court is authorized to grant parties Civil Orders of Protection. You must have a familiar relationship with the other party and prove to a Judge, by a preponderance of the evidence, that another party has committed a Family Offense. Weinrieb Law is focused on protecting clients from Domestic Violence as well defending those who are falsely accused.

Child Relocation

 

Child relocation can be a difficult legal situation. The ability to relocate a child away from another parent is fraught with specific legal challenges. Grandparent Rights
